How they support every child

SEND provision

Managers make good use of additional funding to ensure that all children benefit from a broad curriculum. For instance, they organise training to help staff understand how to support and include children who may need extra help communicating. This helps ensure that all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, are well prepared for their future learning.

Outdoor space

Staff involve children in risk assessments for activities and the outdoor area to help them learn to keep themselves safe. Children are thrilled to be the daily 'safety superhero'. They eagerly put on a high-visibility vest and take the clipboard into the garden to check for any hazards.

Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! The care and learning provided to both of my children who attend is next level every time! They truly make the most effort to ensure my boys are happy, loved and cared for each day and that means the most when you’re leaving them all day! My oldest has been attending since May 2023 and my youngest followed starting October 2024 and they have loved every second of it! My oldest talks about nursery all the time, how much he loves it, how fun it is and speaking highly of all the staff members especially his key person from both baby room and the twos room he’s in now as well as the chef and the manager! My youngest was such a mummy’s boy and never wanted anyone else and he doesn’t even look back for me at drop off he loves walking in to go see his friends! The food is superb and my boys eat so well there, and I love that they get to do cooking classes with the chef! Management is amazing always there to help if you need it and answering all questions no matter how silly!

Highly recommend this nursery! My son has been attending New Church Road since August of this year and has been thriving. We visited a few other settings before choosing this one as no others gave us the same feel that we got when visiting here, it was warm, welcoming, well managed and stimulating. The staff team are nothing short of exceptional and have always been very attentive with tailoring his nursery routine to suit his current needs. During his settling in sessions we were greeted with open arms by all team members that we saw which made us feel so reassured that we had chosen the right setting for him. The setting itself has a very home from home feeling which we love. Overall very happy with the standard of care my son receives, the communication the nursery provides to parents and the learning opportunities on offer throughout his nursery day which we see during the daily updates and observations on a weekly basis.

Great nursery setting, couldn’t fault the level of care that my child receives. He is always keen to see his key person of a morning and very rarely looks back for me and has the biggest smile on his face every evening on collection. His key person has really gone above and beyond to support him in settling and getting to know him as an individual and identifying his different queues that help them tailor his routine to suit his needs on a daily basis. The in house chef, Sarah provides a wide range of different meals with great nutritional value. My son is always so happy when he sees her as he is very aware that this is the source of his meals. I receive frequent and details observations for my child that has really helped me understand his stage of development and what we as parents are able to do to support his learning at home.

Our little boy joined Brightsaurus mid January and we were at first a little apprehensive as to how he would settle in given he had spent so much time in lockdown, but the staff were absolutely amazing. From the first contact, to his Showaround, settling in days and every nursery day since, they really have gone above and beyond to make sure he’s comfortable, settled and that we are too. In just 4 months he has progressed socially so much and he’s always so happy to go in, the facilities are lovely, super clean and they also have their own baby garden so it’s nice to know he’s getting to play inside and outside, they’ve even been to the beach, baked cakes and had little ducklings hatch! We are so pleased with our decision to send him and hope to increase his days soon too. The parent webcams are also a really nice added touch especially when he first started it’s a real reassuring measure. Thank you Brightsaurus for always going that little bit further.
