About this day nursery

Bright Horizons operates more than 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering childcare solutions to families. The organisation focuses on providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive, emphasising both learning and emotional well-being through their unique 'Nurture Approach'.

This approach ensures children receive dedicated care and support from skilled practitioners, fostering a sense of security and belonging. Recognising the financial challenges families face, Bright Horizons provides guidance on government funding options such as tax-free childcare and funded hours.

They are committed to creating a smooth transition for children starting nursery with non-chargeable 'Settling In Sessions' that can commence up to six weeks before the official start date. These sessions allow children and parents to familiarise themselves with the nursery environment and build trust with the 'Key Person', who plays a crucial role in the child's emotional safety and development.

The nursery values open communication with parents, encouraging them to share details about their child's routines, preferences, and comfort items to facilitate a personalised settling-in experience.
