Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special education needs and or/disabilities and those who speak English as an additional language, make good progress in relation to their starting points.
Children explore playing indoors and outdoors and have lots of opportunities to develop their physical skills. They enjoy running, jumping, learning to balance and playing with balls.
My daughter has been attending BH for just over a year now. She always has a brilliant time and loves all the nursery staff dearly. I was anxious when I knew the previous management were leaving BH but had a lot of trust that they would hire someone wonderful to take over their role and my expectation have been more than exceed in that area. Mel the deputy/ acting manger at BH is wonderful and so caring and welcoming. I am delighted she is apart of my childs journey at a BH and she has gone above and beyond already to help support me in other areas which is amazing. Again all credit to the staff who care for my child and I I entrust they will hire the right staff for other roles and I have no worries in that area now
Read on GoogleBH was the first nursery out of three that I went to view and I knew instantly that it was the one I wanted my daughter to attend. My daughter has just started at BH Stoke Newington and they have exceeded my expectations. I was really anxious about my daughter being at nursery, but my anxieties have been quelled by the lovely team at BH, notedly Mel and Kemoy. They keep me informed of my daughter's progress and/ or any challenges and are willing to answer any questions I may have. I honestly feel that she is in a safe space, as she is very eager and excited to attend. Thank you to the staff who have made this experience pleasant and calming for my daughter and I.
Read on GoogleOur son loved his time at Bright Horizons and we were very sad to leave. The staff are all very welcoming and really took their time to get to know him, and us. It’s a very clean and calm environment and I think our son really learned a lot during his time there. My only minor criticism would be that the outdoor space is quite small. But they make the most of it and also take trips to the local park so it’s not an issue.
Read on GoogleThe team are so professional and caring! My son has stayed 1-2 days a week for about 9 months (he is 16 months now). The team greet him by name, always make time to update at collection, give him variety of food and he seems happy at pick up. One time I got delayed collecting him, I managed to inform them but my phone was out of battery so I couldn't give further updates. I was stressed/apologetic at pick up - but they were professional, gave no blame or comments, still made time to update on my son's day, and wished us a good evening. How amazing is that? I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and work ethic. They put on themed events for the kids and at Christmas/ events will send the them home with artwork/crafts they have done which is so assuring to see. This is a wonderful nursery. The facilities are great too.
Read on GoogleThe facility for toddlers is absolutely FANTASTIC. They have lots of sensory play throughout the day, a toddler kitchen, indoor garden and water-play set up indoors. It is the best nursery we’ve visited so far in Islington and we’ve visited several on day visits. Would recommend.
