Housed on the ground floor of a three-story building, it boasts an expansive outdoor play area. The nursery is thoughtfully divided into four distinct playrooms, each tailored to specific age groups.

'Little Raindrops' caters to babies aged 6 weeks to 18 months, providing a nurturing environment with both indoor and outdoor activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. 'Smiley Sunshines' is designed for children aged 19 to 29 months, fostering their independence through self-service mealtimes, potty training facilities, and varied play opportunities.

For children aged 30 months to 5 years, 'Colourful Rainbows' offers a preschool programme that builds upon individual interests within the EYFS guidelines, encouraging social skills and early learning. Additionally, 'Shooting Stars' provides an out-of-school and holiday club for children aged 5 to 10 years, where activities are planned around the children's interests, promoting continuous learning and enjoyment.

The nursery prides itself on home-cooked meals and a strong partnership with parents, ensuring open communication and high standards of care and education for all children.

Our ethos

Bright Smiles Day Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in its programmes for all age groups, from babies to children up to 5 years old. How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff have high expectations for all children. They work collaboratively with parents and other professionals to support children who are at risk of falling behind in comparison to their peers. Highly focused teaching enables all children to make the best possible progress in their learning.

Outdoor space

Children play outside daily and enjoy using a range of equipment that supports their developing muscle control, balance and coordination. For example, older children skilfully navigate their way over the balance beams. Staff create a treasure hunt within the garden, encouraging children to find the hidden treasure.

Lovely nursery, the staff are all very caring, the children are engaged in a lot of varied and interesting activities and outings, the setting itself is spacious, clean, bright and airy and with a huge garden. Can recommend.
