Brooklands Childcare Ltd, established in 2004, provides a welcoming and secure environment for children aged 0–4 years. 30am to 6pm, closing only for bank holidays and one week at Christmas.

Brooklands Childcare Ltd received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 4th May 2023. Children are happy and content, freely separating from their parents at the door.

They enjoy a wide range of stimulating activities both inside and outside. Outdoors, children develop their core strength through running and riding bicycles and scooters.

Babies confidently explore multiple sensory areas in a relaxed and peaceful baby room, developing concentration and strengthening hand and finger muscles. The nursery effectively supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), with an experienced and knowledgeable SENDCo working closely with parents, staff, and other professionals.

Children also learn about different cultural traditions and festivals, such as Chinese New Year and Diwali, to broaden their understanding of the world. Staff act as positive role models, fostering good behaviour and high expectations.

However, the nursery is working on strengthening staff knowledge of their newly introduced curriculum and providing more targeted support for children who speak English as an additional language.

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported. The special educational needs and disabilities coordinator (SENDCo) is experienced and knowledgeable. She works closely with parents, staff and other professionals to provide children with all the support they need.

Children enjoy playing with their friends and choosing from a wide range of stimulating activities, both inside and outside. Outdoors, children develop their core strength as they run and ride bicycles and scooters.

I couldn't recommend a better nursery, my daughter started just before she turned 1 Her speech and everything about her has come on so much Im so sad she has to leave because we are moving But thank you to tweenies and toddler rooms You are all amazing and i thank you for the love and kindness you shown to my daughter She is going to miss you all ❣️
