Open all year round, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 6pm, the setting promotes children's independence and confidence through a sensitively implemented key-person system.

Staff, who are good role models and feel valued and supported, show a sincere interest in the children, fostering a positive environment where children become confident, inquisitive learners. The nursery provides both indoor and outdoor activities to support learning.

The curriculum is carefully designed to meet the needs and interests of children in each room, and managers continuously review all aspects of the nursery, supported by development plans. Staff quickly address any weaker areas in children's development and work with other professionals to provide pertinent support, especially for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring they make good progress.

The strong partnership with parents ensures they are kept informed of their child's developmental milestones and included in nursery developments, receiving daily verbal feedback.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff quickly address any weaker areas in children's development and work well with other professionals to ensure pertinent support. Furthermore, staff use their good knowledge of children to utilise additional funding to help promote children's development.

The inspectors observed staff interactions with children during activities, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this has on children's learning.

Great nursery with a lovely set up for all age groups. Lots of different type toys and and materials. Mostly wooden. Kids spent a lot of the time outdoors which I prefer. The staff are very friendly and engaging. I get updates through the app on my sons progression as well as photos of him and some new table and tray educational set ups. He certainly enjoys being there.

My daughter has progressed amazingly in the 2 years she has been at Busy Bees and the staff are all fantastic. They all treat her - and us - wonderfully and I can't think of a better place for her to have been. My son is starting later in the year so that is the best endorsement I could give!
