They also learn to manage risks during activities, for example, on the large play equipment in the garden. The manager is actively developing a new garden to offer more opportunities for children to explore the natural world and spend extended periods outdoors, enhancing their overall experiences.

SEND provision

Staff work in collaboration with outside agencies to ensure that continuous progress is made through personalised intervention, ensuring steady progress from children's starting points. Staff are successful in supporting all children, including those with SEND, to become increasingly independent in their self-care routines.

Outdoor space

During free play in the garden, children climb on large play equipment. They are supported by staff, who encourage and congratulate them for persevering. The manager is currently developing a new garden, which will enable children to explore the natural world and spend longer periods outside in the fresh air.

My son started here at the age of two, he was unsure at first, but the staff were great and he shortly started going in without looking back. He absolutely loves nursery! I have so many positive things i could say from how lovely and supportive the staff are, to how well they have helped my son learn and grow. But most of all I just want to say thank you to the whole team at Butterflies for making our experience so incredible. I would one hundred percent recommend this nursery!

Working with Butterflies Preschool was such a fantastic experience for our recent Christmas Mini Sessions! The staff’s friendly and organised approach made the photoshoot seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved. The children were such a delight to photograph, and it was wonderful to capture their unique personalities. Parents and carers have shared lovely feedback, expressing how much they appreciate and cherish these keepsakes. It’s always so rewarding to see how much these photos mean to families. Butterflies Preschool’s warm and nurturing environment shines through, and I’m thrilled to have been part of creating lasting memories for their community.
