Carealot Day Nursery, established in 1999, provides a welcoming and happy environment for children aged 1 to 4 years. Open Monday to Friday, all year round, with various sessions between 8am and 6pm, the nursery operates a well-established key-person system, helping children to form strong relationships with familiar adults and feel safe and secure.
The setting was rated Good by Ofsted in September 2022. Children here enjoy a broad curriculum planned by staff to follow their interests, support individual needs, and prepare them for school.
The dedicated managers are committed to providing excellent care and learning experiences, working closely with parents. Children particularly enjoy outdoor activities, with plenty of opportunities to develop physical skills on the climbing frame, balancing beams, and see-saw.

Children are happy and enjoy their time at this welcoming nursery. The key-person system is well established. All children are well cared for by staff, who know them well, helping children feel safe and secure.

However, staff recognise that the level of support currently in place does not help all children to communicate effectively, particularly those learning English as an additional language and those with additional needs. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Outdoor space
Children particularly enjoy being outside, where they have plenty of opportunities to develop their physical skills. For example, they play on the climbing frame, carefully walk across the balancing beams, and energetically push themselves up and down on the see-saw.

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better nursery. Had never left my little girl before getting her to come here and we never had any tears or anything where she just loves it so much. She gets so excited to go and is so sad to be leaving for school. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to each and every one of you for looking after her and making everytime a fun one. Cannot reccomend enough xx

Messed around after agreeing on times and days called to make arrangements to pay first month and was spoken to Rudely , questioned , criticised, told what’s what and hanged up on. So upset by this I have written a letter to MP as UnaBle to find another nusery in time and definitely won’t send my child here.
