I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Carmela Coady Childcare. Throughout our time there, I never felt that I got to properly know the staff, nor did we ever build any kind of relationship. Communication felt minimal and impersonal, which is very concerning when you are entrusting people with your child’s care. One of the biggest issues was the complete regression in my child’s toilet training. My child was fully toilet trained before starting, yet this went massively downhill while attending. On more than one occasion, my child was left in urine-soaked trousers until collection to the point where they had dried. This is simply unacceptable. I raised these concerns with staff multiple times, yet nothing seemed to change. Despite conversations and assurances, the issues were never properly addressed or resolved. While the staff were always polite, and my child did seem to enjoy making friends within the setting, the level of care in these areas was simply not acceptable. The ongoing issues left me feeling uncomfortable and uneasy about leaving my child in their care. Overall, this has been a very upsetting and frustrating experience, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this childcare setting based on the care we received.

Sunny has been at Carmela Coady Childcare for a little over 2 years and I've enjoyed the progress he has made! Sunny is now 3 years old and love being able to see the photos and live updates of activity's and food diary. The nursery have been very supportive with his medical needs and any concerns are very approachable and always have the time! I would recommend the nursery to all as they do little outings to the park and lots of activity's planned each day! The chef Anna has been brillant as sunny is a very eater and has adapted to food requests! (Thankyou) The support with sunny is fantastic team!

My son absolutely loves going to Carmela Coady – it’s become a place where he feels completely happy and safe. Over his time there, he’s built some wonderful friendships as I have too with some of the other mums. He's learned so much, both academically and socially. The team at the nursery are truly incredible. They're all so kind, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s been amazing to watch my little boy grow in confidence and come home excited to tell us all about his day. We’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing and supportive environment. Cannot recommend them enough!

My son attended Carmela coady childcare for over a year, but I decided to move him to a different nursery a few months ago. Since the change, I’ve noticed significant improvements in his behaviour, which makes me feel that he may not have been receiving the attention he needed at Carmela coady childcare. There were multiple mornings that breakfast was not provided for my child, which was very concerning. On rainy days, he would come out soaked and dirty, which made me question the level of care and attention he was receiving. Additionally, towards the end of his time there, he became very unsettled and anxious about going to the nursery, which was never like him. Another issue was the constant changes in staff and key persons. My son kept having different key persons, and it was unclear who his primary caregiver was. This lack of consistency seemed odd and concerning. Moreover, the manager was EXTREMELY passive-aggressive, especially when I decided not to continue with their services. She messaged me to book a meeting to address my concerns, but the way she approached it felt unhelpful and added to the overall unpleasant experience. I would not recommend anyone sending their children there, they’ll be nice at first and then you’ll realise what’s really going on.
