About this day nursery

The Castle Nursery, established in 1986, is a childcare provider dedicated to fostering a healthy, safe, secure, and loving environment for children. They prioritise meeting individual needs, promoting positive relationships with caregivers, and encouraging growth and learning through play.

The nursery aims to be a welcoming and stimulating space where children can build confidence and reach their full potential. They emphasise quality care, ensuring parents feel secure about their child's well-being.

A warm atmosphere is cultivated for children, families, staff, and visitors alike. Additionally, The Castle Nursery is committed to providing healthy, balanced meals with alternatives for dietary requirements.

They also strive to instil values of respect and diversity among the children in their care. The nursery operates across two main settings, Perryfields and Parkside, both offering dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers, and preschool children with access to outdoor play areas.

This ensures that children receive the support they need from other professionals to thrive in their development. Furthermore, staff use additional funding well to support children's individual needs.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy playing in the large sand box outside. They use spades to dig and buckets to make sand castles. Other children enjoy experimenting with the different patterns they can make in the sand using tractors. Children have lots of opportunity to play outside.
