Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The nursery has high numbers of children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff use targeted intervention to support children with SEND while they are awaiting support from outside professionals. All children, including those with SEND, make progress from their starting points.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy playing in the garden. They show good balance and coordination as they use the scooters and bicycles to navigate the area. Staff support children to make marks on the walls with water and large paint brushes, introducing key words while they play.

Excellent staff, my son suffers from allergies and eczema, they catered for his condition, and even did a course about it. I am very thankful for them. Would highly recommend

"I am so grateful to all the wonderful staff at Chatam Nursery. My child had a tough time settling in at first, but everyone went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and secure. Their collective dedication and genuine care have made all the difference. Now, he's not only settled but genuinely enjoys his time there.
