Cherubs Nurseries provides high-quality early education across multiple locations, striving to make childcare accessible and affordable for families. The nursery chain opened in 1993, founded by Susan Mills who sought to create a better childcare option after experiencing difficulties finding a suitable nursery for her own child.
Understanding that navigating childcare costs can be complex, Cherubs Nurseries is dedicated to guiding parents through the available government funding options, aiming to simplify the process. They accept various government-funded hours, including schemes for children aged 9 months and up, two-year-olds, and three- and four-year-olds, which can help reduce fees by providing funded childcare hours.
The nursery emphasises the importance of these schemes in supporting children’s development, offering parents more flexibility, and ensuring every child receives an enriching start in life. They assist parents with understanding eligibility criteria and accessing these funded hours.

Inclusion & environment
Children have super opportunities to explore outdoors in the local forest, and exercise their large muscles. There is a strong emphasis on harnessing the outdoor environment in the nursery's curriculum, and staff in the baby room make good use of the available resources outdoors to help babies learn to walk.
This nursery is fabulous, the staff are so friendly and my little boy loves it. Sarah the manager is so knowledgeable. Always takes the time to chat and is there for advice. His keywords Shell is wonderful too. I feel reassured leaving my child there he's is safe hands and learning lots. I would highly recommend Cherubs. It's not the cheapest but the extra activities and details shows.
