About this day nursery

Cherubs Nurseries, established in 1993, is a family-operated childcare provider with a network of nurseries across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Founded by Susan Mills, who was inspired to create suitable childcare after her own experiences as a parent, the group is dedicated to providing high-quality early education.

They focus on nurturing each child's development in a supportive environment, always striving to make the process of accessing childcare and understanding funding options as straightforward as possible for families. The nursery chain prides itself on its commitment to the community and continuous improvement, as evidenced by its various awards and training academy.

They aim to offer a flexible and enriching start to life for all children in their care.

Our daughter has been attending Ilkeston since opening week and she loves it. She gets outside most days, whether on a walk to see the ducks or playing in the outdoor spaces on site. The staff are excellent, incredibly helpful and reassuring. Communication is great and the app used is great for getting updates throughout the day. We're very pleased with our choice to move over to Cherubs and they were very accommodating with finding a placement at Kimberley over summer while Ilkeston was being prepared for opening.

My little boy has just started in sept 2024 when they just opened and we've had such a great experience settling in, showing care for both my son and I needs. I feel confident leaving him in their care and is happy with both going in and coming out of nursery with super friendly staff. I love the fact they have an app they update throughout the day with what he's been doing and pictures of his day. Highly recommend
