Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive good support. Staff are quick to identify where additional support may be required and work with families and other professionals involved in the child's life to help narrow any gaps in attainment and provide a fully inclusive learning environment.
In the toddler garden, children hunt for spiders and bugs and tick them off on their bug bingo sheet. In the toddler garden, children can identify which stones are the biggest and which are the smallest.
A lovely warm home from home setting which is set out beautifully for the children! The communication on tapestry is fantastic - I often receive lots of lovely photos of my daughter! We regularly receive information about what the children have been learning, which is really helpful to build our own conversations at home and encourage our pre schooler to talk about her experiences! A special thank you to Alena and to Billie who helped settle my daughter quickly and always provide a happy face and a warm cuddle for her on drop off if needed! It is clear this nursery is centred around the childrens learning, development, and wellbeing. It is also so lovely to see how hard the staff team work to create beautiful inviting areas for the children to access! Thank you Clarence House Chatteris for such a positive experience!
Read on GoogleThe staff at Clarence House are absolutely amazing. Having 3 children close in age throws up quite a few parenting "what do I do?" moments for me and they are always available to listen and give advice - thank you! My boys have just started school and the confidence they gained from attending Clarence House has set them up for a brilliant start in reception. My daughter still attends and had only ever been when her brothers were there. She is so comfortable and happy in the setting and with the staff that the transition has been seamless for her.
Read on GoogleMy son (nearly 3) has been at Clarence House since May and settled in so quickly. The staff have been amazing — they helped him with potty training and although he’s still non verbal really we’ve noticed real progress with his communication too. The nursery is full of great toys, books, and a fantastic garden with a mud kitchen, water play, and a playground. Parking is always easy, which makes pick-up stress-free. Everyone is so kind and friendly, and a special thanks to Rae, his key person, who he absolutely loves. Couldn’t recommend Clarence House more!
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending Clarence House Nursery in Chatteris for over 1.5 years now. She absolutely loves attending and has come on so far in her development since she has started. A big thanks to all the staff for all that they do! Our 2nd child will be attending next year as we have been so happy with the nursery
Read on GoogleMy little girl has been attending Clarence House since she was 9 months old. It was daunting sending her to nursery as she’s not always gotten on with strangers and was struggling with starting solids at the time, but she’s truly blossomed there. She now devours the varied menu and adores the staff, who are all passionate, friendly and dedicated to their roles! She comes home each day with stories of the adventures she got up to and she regularly engages in crafts and activities that teach and engage but are also fun to participate in. Last month she met a whole host of small animals and the nursery even hosted their own Clarencebury Festival this year! The staff have always listened when I’ve had specific needs and they have been on hand to help at each stage of my daughter’s development. We’re really thankful she enjoys her time there so much and that she’s so well looked after.
