Cranbrook Nurseries & Pre-Schools, with roots tracing back to 1983, provides childcare and early education across multiple locations, including Horley, Crawley, and Haywards Heath. Designed to be a home-like environment, the nurseries welcome children from three months to five years old, fostering development through a blend of indoor and outdoor activities.
The curriculum is shaped by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, emphasising child-led exploration and adult-guided experiences to build independence, resilience, and social skills. A key feature of their approach is outdoor learning, with nurseries registered as Forest Schools, utilising local woodlands and wilderness gardens for unique educational opportunities.
The focus extends to holistic development, supported by a team of experienced and dedicated early years educators who prioritise strong relationships with both children and their families. Home-cooked meals are prepared daily, ensuring nutritious options for the children.
Cranbrook Nurseries seeks to establish a true partnership with parents, believing that collaborative efforts lead to the best developmental outcomes for each child.
Our ethos
We believe the early years shape everything that follows. That’s why we’re here to give children the best possible start. Since 1983, we have been providing high-quality childcare, welcoming children from their earliest days and helping them grow into confident, curious learners. Our nursery is thoughtfully designed to feel like a home-from-home for your child, where they feel comfortable, happy and secure. Children are supported by our experienced early years educators who understand how they learn best, through play and discovery.

Not professional , Not Reliable and Poor value. I called the Manger of this Nursery on 14 April 21 and asked for the place available for my Son, So she asked me for how many days in need i told her that it is for 5 days (morning) she told me that yes they do have space available , but suddenly she asked me the age of my Son so i told her he is of 4 years old and will be going to school in Sep 21, so now her tone was changed and told me that she can't give me all 5 days morning slots but she can give some, and booked my appointment for today 19-April-21, and around 1 pm i just call from her and she was looking very rude and totally and said they have only 1 afternoon available, very unprofessional. Please guys avoid this Nursery as much you can , i have attached the email i sent to them as well, please someone from this Nursery investigate this why you guys are telling lie to me after you said you have place or not, i don't have car so can't go too far for nursery and will raise this with Ofsted as well for sure.
