Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The new management team has recognised that plans have not been consistently implemented in a timely manner to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). It has started working on developing this. However, as this is still in the early stages of development, there has not been sufficient time to fully embed these practices and measure their impact on strengthening partnerships with parents and external professionals.

Outdoor space

Children aged over two years enjoy regular outdoor play, demonstrating strong physical skills, such as on the climbing frame. However, babies lack similar opportunities, as staff do not plan outdoor play experiences as well for them.

We had a lovely experience with this nursery, and I would like to thank both the preschool team and especially the wonderful ladies in the toddler room. My daughter spent most of her time in the toddler room, and the care, patience, and kindness she received there meant so much to us. The staff made her feel safe, happy, and well cared for every day. We are very grateful for everything and would highly recommend this nursery.

Cutie Pies Eastham branch: Both my two youngest boys attend Cutie Pies at Eastham and it was the best decision I've made in terms of preschool in Newham, my first son was 2 years old and started in the toddler room over a year ago, I was anxious as he had somewhat of a speech delay at first, as soon as he settled he was forming small sentences clearly and developed in his communication skills as well as Confidence. Sultana the Room leader at the time was always approachable and supportive and Khaleda his Key worker at the time was amazing in every way. Thank you ladies, now he is currently in the Preschool room with Parul as a great leader and educator, He is developing in all areas of the Early Years preschool curriculum. My baby is currently attending in the baby room Sahar the room leader is always communicative in her feedback and regular progress as well as so supportive, he is excelling and growing very happy. Bithi his key worker is always so caring, nurturing and genuine in her love for him. I feel reassured the boys are happy, safe and most importantly cared for in all aspects. This is all ofcourse with the great care hardwork, effort and genuine care the manager Suaad puts in to managing the overall running of the nursery and All under her duty of care, Anisa the deputy has also brought great creativity and extra fun to school and Maria is just so hands on with everything as well as being friendly and approachable all the time. Cutie Pies Eastham carry on the great work and positive changes you are doing amazing and we are proud to be a part of that.

We couldn't be happier with the care our child receives at this nursery (Eastham branch) . The staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and professional. It's clear they genuinely care about each child. Communication is excellent; we’re always kept up to date with our child's progress and daily activities, which gives us so much peace of mind. It’s a place where we feel completely confident leaving our child, knowing they’re in safe and nurturing hands.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Cutie Pies for the incredible care you’ve given our twins over the last two years. From the early days in the Toddler Room, where you helped them to learn how to walk, talk and use a potty, to the more recent months in the Preschool Room, where they have begun to learn letters, numbers and how to write. All the extra activities you’ve organised have been so much fun for the twins to be involved in, from the “beach day” and the trip to the Discovery Centre to the mum and dad breakfasts and trips to the park. And not forgetting the ordinary day-to-day activities - coming up with creative and fun ways to challenge and inspire everyone. The twins have been really lucky to have such kind and supportive staff around them each day, and we have been so happy to see them flourish under your care. A huge thanks to everyone - you are AMAZING and we are so grateful for your dedication and hard work.
