Dalgarno Pre-School offers a vibrant and nurturing educational environment for young children aged 18 months to five years. The dedicated team strives to create a stimulating atmosphere where children can explore, discover, and develop at their own pace.

Recognising that learning begins from birth, the pre-school provides diverse activities and experiences specifically tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage, fostering resilience, confidence, and self-assurance. The curriculum is deeply rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, emphasising four core principles: a unique child, positive relationships, enabling environments, and comprehensive learning and development.

What it's like

Children arrive at the pre-school happy and eager to greet staff and their friends, demonstrating developing independence as staff support them. They quickly settle and engage with various activities, both indoors and outdoors, making choices about their learning and play. Staff are attentive to individual needs and actively engage with children, responding enthusiastically during role-play games.

Pricing & funding

Fees are invoiced monthly in advance. No refunds or fee reductions are offered for sickness, holidays, bank holidays, or staff training days. Late collections are subject to a grace period before penalty charges apply, and there are currently no deposit requirements.
