Inclusion & environment
The curriculum is carefully adapted to support children who need additional help, including those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. Some children begin nursery with lower levels of development in their language and physical skills, and staff prioritise these areas to help them make swift progress.
Painting outdoors is carefully designed to encourage children's coordination and control of their arms and hands, in preparation for early writing. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
