SEND provision

Nursery leaders, alongside staff, plan a rich and exciting curriculum that motivates all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The manager is also the trained special educational needs coordinator (SENCo), who works closely with staff and delivers high-quality interventions for children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Staff bring the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' alive as the children are 'squelching' through the 'thick oozy' mud in the garden. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

After visiting many nursery’s when deciding which one to choose I literally could not recommend this nursery enough! I was petrified leaving my baby with anyone especially after lockdown and I’m a very intense mum as I imagine most mums are!The girls in this nursery from day one have made me feel at ease, my daughters development since being there is an absolute credit to the staff and I can’t thank them enough! I’m far from easily pleased when it comes to my daughter but wow they deserve a medal for dealing with me and my little angel/devil 😊 Danielle as a manager you have that place like a home where the kids feel comfortable but learn at the same time unreal! Alison, Faye, Alex, Jamie all of you do an amazing job I’m so sorry if I’ve forgotten any of the other girls you are all fantastic and I’ll be recommending Denehurst to everyone! This has to be the best safest nursery for kids.Danielle and all the staff are absolutely incredible I can't thank them enough for what they have done for my daughter I highly recommend Denehurst nursery.xx
