How they support every child

SEND provision

Activities are accessible and engaging and meet all children's needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Leaders and staff are highly ambitious in supporting children with SEND. They sensitively adapt the provision to help children make the progress they are capable of and have developed calm spaces with sensory resources to support children with regulating their emotions. Leaders make timely referrals and work closely with parents and outside agencies, putting detailed targeted plans in place for all children with SEND. Staff teach children other ways to communicate, such as using pictures, gestures and Makaton, which helps all children, including those with SEND, to find their 'voice' and become confident communicators.

Outdoor space

Older children enjoy taking turns to blow bubbles, they laugh together as they chase the bubbles in the garden. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
