Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff help to develop children's speech and communication skills from a very early age. They name objects in everyday play and encourage babies to repeat or name things. Staff working with the older children use planned circle time to encourage children to sing familiar songs and to talk about events, introducing new words.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy some outdoor learning when they visit the nursery garden. On occasions, they go for walks in the local community. During the winter months, however, the provision for such experiences is reduced to short, planned outdoor play sessions.

Our little one has the best time with the children and staff. After moving, she settled in quickly and was incredibly happy. The staff have been helpful and friendly and it really is like home away from home for our little one. She’s made amazing progress in all areas and the staff have been knowledgable and supportive in helping us with areas such as potty training! We can’t fault the nursery in any way and love to see our daughter flourish and grow with Dragonfly’s care and encouragement.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care and support our son has received at Dragonfly Nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been so kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to his well-being and development. They have created such a nurturing and welcoming environment where he feels happy, safe, and excited to learn every day. We truly appreciate all the effort, patience and love the team puts into making the nursery such a special place. A huge thank you for Tasha the manager you are amazing! Thanks a lot for the incredible teachers Clare, Sophie and Carmen for all love and caring. Thank you for all special staff for the attention and care you all are a star. Dragonfly Nursery has been absolutely amazing for our daughter. She loves the people there and has made some great friends. The Management of the Nursery always goes out of their way to help and support both the children and the parents. Moving our daughter to this nursery was the best decision we made! She has learned so much from the girls there, and her education is supported. Dragonfly not only offer support and care to my daughter, but they welcome my son at drop offs and pick ups as if he was apart of their team (even though he is already at school). I recommend this team to everyone I speak to with young children and will continue to do so. I appreciate the help and support everyone here offers

My son has grown up with this nursery, and we've had the joy of watching it grow alongside him. The entire team is absolutely wonderful—always warm, caring, and most importantly, incredibly patient. Every day, we were greeted with smiling, happy faces, making drop-offs and pick-ups a pleasure. The staff have always kept my son's best interests at heart, and their dedication has meant the world to us. A special mention goes to the Manager - Tasha, and the owner, who have both been so polite, understanding, and accommodating throughout our journey. We are especially grateful to Zoie, Caris, Claire, and Sophie for the genuine care and love they've shown our son. Thank you all for making his early years so happy and nurturing. Highly recommend it!
