About this day nursery

Early Adventures, established in 2004 in Abbots Langley, WD5 0BT, offers a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for children aged 0-4 years. 30am to 6pm, the nursery operates all year round.

Children are excited to arrive and explore, forming incredibly close bonds with the nurturing staff. The setting supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) exceptionally well; key staff build strong relationships and remain with these children throughout their time at the nursery.

Staff work closely with carers and other professionals, attending meetings and undertaking additional training to ensure a high level of care. All children benefit from plenty of outdoor play, eagerly engaging in messy, sensory activities like exploring slime and water.

The nursery fosters high levels of independence and confidence in children of all ages, as seen in babies helping with naptime setup and older children setting tables. Partnerships with parents are of a high standard, with families encouraged to join in nursery routines to further support their child's learning at home.

Parents are highly complimentary about the nurturing care and outstanding support provided to the entire family. The latest Ofsted report, dated 17/05/2023, rates Early Adventures as 'Good' overall, with 'Outstanding' for personal development.
