About this day nursery

30pm daily. The nursery received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 01/06/2023.

Children are happy and settle well from the start, forming strong attachments with staff. ' The nursery uniquely blends the French Maternelle curriculum with the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering bilingual communication in French and English among all children.

Children learn across all areas, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), who receive good support tailored to their specific requirements through collaboration with parents and professionals like speech and language therapists. Children aged 3 to 4 are encouraged to be independent, preparing their own snacks and dressing for outdoor play, which helps build resilience and positive attitudes.

The well-qualified staff team, comprising three qualified teachers among six staff members, plans a stimulating curriculum that excites and engages children. They effectively integrate mathematics into daily activities and teach early literacy skills through storytelling.

The nursery also broadens children's understanding of the wider world by participating in joint activities, such as science projects and dances, with other French nurseries across Europe.
