About this day nursery

Fatiha Nursery, established in 2013, provides early years education with a distinct Muslim ethos. The founders bring over two decades of international nursery experience, focusing on individualized care to nurture each child's unique talents and interests.

The curriculum aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), covering seven crucial areas of learning, including communication, personal development, and literacy, while seamlessly integrating Islamic principles and the Arabic language. This approach aims to foster a strong sense of identity, pride in heritage, and confidence, enabling children to become compassionate and responsible members of society.

The nursery operates 42 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, with dedicated staff committed to creating a loving and secure environment. They have multiple branches in London and Kent, as well as an international presence in Riyadh.

Our ethos

Fatiha Nursery is guided by a Muslim ethos, welcoming children from all backgrounds. The core of their philosophy is to instill in children a strong sense of identity grounded in their religious and cultural heritage, drawing lessons from prophetic traditions such as kindness, good manners, and respect for diversity. They believe that understanding and embracing one's identity is crucial for becoming a well-adjusted and confident member of a multicultural society. The nursery integrates bite-sized lessons from the Qur’an and Sunnah, focusing on practical moral teachings to develop an Islamic personality and behavior. Additionally, the Arabic language is taught to enhance children's understanding of Islam, support their prayers, and boost their cognitive abilities and verbal expression.

My son went here and my daughter will also go here. Muslim education establishments need community support. Doing well for a new nursery. Staff are kind and taken parents concerns into consideration. Always active with inclusive events. It does feel like a family nursery. May Allah give the nursery more success

Amazing caring staff, my son loves the nursery and looks forward to his days there. Since starting Fatiha nursery, my son has improved his speech and has also become very socially aware. Highly recommend this nursery for anyone looking to teach their child about Islam from a young age.

I took my son there when he was 2.5 years old. He was so nervous, didn’t know how to interact with other children and lacked confidence. Yesterday he had his graduation ceremony and I could not be more proud!! Allahumma barik lahu to see the confidence he has amongst his peers and teachers during the ceremony made me so happy. Taking him to Fatiha nursery was the best thing I could have done for him. All the staff are amazing, especially Ustadha Maryam who was such a blessing for us and also his favourite teacher. The kids are taught Quran and duaas, they recite it with such confidence. May Allah bless the staff for the constant comfort and support they give the children!!
