Our ethos
Our aim is to provide babies & young children with a safe, stimulating environment with a high standard of constructive play, care and education. We are inspired by theory and research and our eclectic approach consists of play-based learning, inquiry-based learning, the Reggio Approach and Froebel inspired provision. We support children through experimental learning and hands-on inquiry, which provide the foundations for problem solving, language development and the collaboration between self-help skills, peers, creativity and confidence. We treat all of the children in our care with equal concern and, in doing so, agree to promote an equality of opportunity and to meet each individual’s specific needs when it comes to religion, culture and language, as well as gender and any special needs.

"the dedication that staff have is phenomenal, particularly for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)."
Inclusion & environment
Parents comment that the dedication that staff have is phenomenal, particularly for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND are exceptionally well supported. An experienced leader works alongside staff and other professionals to provide children with the help and support they need. Staff are proactive in accessing early help and swiftly address any gaps in children's learning to help them make the best possible progress.
Children follow the instructions of staff, for instance, as they line up to go outside. Staff teach children how to come down the stairs safely; toddlers learn to go up and down a small number of steps on a wooden play structure.
