Finkley Nurseries, established in 2017 by early years specialist Alison Dennis, offers premium care and education for children from three months to five years old. The nursery group is dedicated to fostering warm and engaging environments that encourage learning, growth, and exploration through play.
Starting with Finkley Down Farm in Andover, the group has expanded to include locations in East Anton, Weeke (Winchester), Hudson Fields (Salisbury), and Amesbury, with a new branch in Overton slated for autumn 2026. A distinctive aspect of Finkley Nurseries is its emphasis on outdoor experiences, providing children with opportunities to engage with nature and their local community regardless of the weather.
The curriculum incorporates trips to libraries, woodlands, and interactions with care home residents, aiming to cultivate curiosity, confidence, and strong community ties. Each nursery is thoughtfully designed to facilitate development through free-flow play, both indoors and outdoors, featuring amenities such as spacious gardens, mud kitchens, vegetable patches, and sensory areas.
As part of Attraction Nurseries, Finkley Nurseries shares a commitment to providing meaningful and inspiring early years education.

Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinators work closely with staff and other professionals, to ensure that any gaps in children's development are closed swiftly. All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress.
Children use natural objects from around the garden to build a car and an aeroplane. They also enjoy taking part in physical exercise daily and making their way over equipment in the soft-play room, as well as racing with balancing bicycles.
This nursery is providing great care to my child. My son has really enjoyed everyday so far and is very fond of the staff, it's clear to see. At the beginning, like many toddlers, my son experienced some separation anxiety but they were very patient and very friendly. My son now runs into it with excitement all the mornings he's going there. The staff really make this nursery special, very friendly, not patronising or undermining, instead, they're very responsive and they listen to our requests and concerns. There's a genuine friendliness in this nursery, I have worked in nurseries before and they're a cut above. Excellent team and I feel very lucky to have this as my local nursery. They offer reports daily, with picture updates and progress reports on skills and learning tasks. I highly recommend it.
Read on GoogleMy 3yr old daughter started at Finkley East Anton on the opening day in April. I can not fault them in any way. From day one they have been amazing with her. She is so happy when I pick her up and she can't wait to tell me all about her day. The staff are always so lovely and are quick to respond to any question or request. The variety of activities is outstanding including trips out of the nursery to the circus, market, walks and the farm. Every day I have photos and a write up of what they've done that day which is lovely to see when I'm at work. I highly recommend Finkley and I'd like to thank all of the staff for making a working parents life, so much easier knowing my daughter has such a wonderful time.
Read on GoogleMy son started Finkley Nursery (East Anton) in September and in only a short space of time he has settled so well and made a bond with his keyworker. The staff are all so friendly, supportive and setup great activities for the children to explore and learn. I would definitely recommend Finkley Nurseries for anyone looking for childcare. I look forward to the rest of my sons journey here and making lots of memories.
Read on GoogleOur twin girls started at Finkley nursery in September, they were shy at first but now they absolutely love it. The staff are so helpful, kind and accommodating. Any worries we’ve had have been listened to and supported. Communication is always spot on and speedy. Our girls always come back happy and smiley having had a lovely day!
Read on GoogleFinkley East Anton is an amazing nursery. We moved our daughter here from a different local nursery and cannot fault it. It was the best decision we could’ve made. She has gained some really strong and trusting relationships with her key people. Dani, Kirsty and Kayleigh are constantly talked about at home! We receive a fantastic amount of feedback from the nursery about our daughters day and her development alongside loads of pictures every day which we love to see. There’s always loads of activities set up for the children to do, and they visit Finkley Farm, local parks, fruit markets etc which my daughter loves. We were really hesitant about changing nurseries, worried about how our little one would settle in and if it was the right thing to do, but with the opportunities, support and care that Finkley East Anton have offered to our child in just 6 months, we haven’t looked back.
