Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents express their gratitude for all that the nursery staff do for their children.
They report on the good communication they receive from staff when they collect their children and via the online system.
Inclusion & environment
Staff ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive appropriate support. They work closely with parents and other professionals. They set individual targets for children to ensure they make progress that is achievable and relevant to them, and the special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Learning is continued in the well-resourced outdoor area. Children discover frozen dinosaurs and think of ways to free them, using tools to bash the ice, practising their coordination and hand strength. Physical development is well supported in the setting, as children learn the impact that exercise has on their bodies, with staff encouraging star jumps and jumping jacks to keep warm.
My child started here at preschool age and continued here until reception age. We were recommended FMN by a friend. I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. My daughter thrived in their environment. Happy in the knowledge that the staff were well trained and capable of loving my child as much as me. The staff became like family. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.
Read on GoogleMy daughter enrolled when she was 8 months and has been here for 3 years now. The staff are fantastic. Very professional. Communication with the staff/nursery is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking at putting there child/children into nursery. All staff get to know the children on a one to one basis, my daughter has met all of her milestones whilst at nursery. They are very supportive towards the parents aswell as the children.
Read on GoogleWe highly recommend FMN as a nursery. Both of my children have attended there over the last 4 years, and in that time the team has provided exemplary care and support to us as a family. Staff turnover is low, meaning that there is ongoing familiarity with keyworkers and lots of opportunities for play and social development. Both my husband and I work in education and have been impressed by the way the team have prepared our oldest child for school, and the hands-on approach they have for encouraging children to learn through their own exploration. Communication with parents is excellent and has given us great confidence that our children are in safe hands.
Read on GoogleFMN is a wonderful nursery with the most caring staff! Our two children have attended here since 2010 until present. The staff treat the children like family and have also provided both of our children with excellent preschool education in preparation for reception. I couldn’t have asked for a more nurturing environment for our daughters and are so glad we chose them as our childcare providers all those years ago. Highly recommended!
Read on GoogleI took my son to forget me not nearly 6 years ago when he was around 18 months old. He was shy but soon made some amazing friends who have all now gone to the same school and are all still as close today. The staff are lovely and caring, it feels more like family then just a child care provider. When I had my daughter it was a no brainer about where I would send her. The staff treat the children as if they are their own. I really credit the staff for how well my son has done at school and I love to see the bonds my children have created with all at forget me not. Amazing place.
