Fountain of Knowledge Montessori Nursery School, established in 1999 and overseen by owner Deborah Anderson, offers premier full-day and sessional care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The nursery focuses on supporting each child's social, emotional, and intellectual well-being within a carefully prepared Montessori environment.
This setting encourages natural development, allowing children to progress at their own pace and foster independence. The school prides itself on blending traditional Montessori principles with modern educational research, continuously refining its teaching strategies.
The curriculum integrates Montessori methods, the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, individual learning patterns, and children's interests to create a holistic learning experience. They also actively engage with parents, providing support and insights into their child's developmental journey.
Located conveniently for Bugbrooke and surrounding villages, the nursery was nominated for a 'Northampton Education Award' in 2022.

Parents say they value the communication and warmth of the staff members.
Inclusion & environment
Staff provide good support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language. They understand the variety of ways in which children learn and identify when a different process needs to be adopted. Staff work closely with the children, the parents and other professionals to put in place personalised strategies and achievable targets for children to work towards.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning. Children learn to keep themselves safe. They know they need to put on sun cream and hats to protect themselves before spending time in the sunshine.
