Funshine Day Nursery, located in the Shirley area of Croydon, provides care for children aged from one to four years. The day nursery operates all year round, from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. In September 2025, Ofsted inspected the nursery and judged its overall effectiveness to be Outstanding.

The inspector reported that children benefit from a stimulating curriculum where communication and language are a central focus. Staff use daily outdoor play to support children's physical development and healthy lifestyles. Children's behaviour and personal development were described as strengths, and the report noted that the nursery has robust systems for supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The inspector found that leaders and a stable staff team share an ethos of curiosity, independence, and kindness.
