The current proprietor, Julie, continues her mother Jean Hope Brown's legacy, supported by a dedicated team, many of whom have been with Glenfield for over two decades.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Overall, staff have high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Outdoor space

Children delight in growing their own 'magic beans' in the outdoor area after reading 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. They use magnifying glasses to examine their beans. Staff remove any identified hazards, including in the outdoor area. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

5 star nursery !! There is a warm, welcoming feeling as soon as you come through the door, the staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to meet the needs of the parents and children. They know their children and it is clear that the staff love their job and the children.
