Granby House Nursery, located in Rotherham, offers comprehensive childcare services with a transparent fee structure for the 2025/26 academic year. The nursery aims to provide a fair and compliant approach to childcare fees and funded arrangements, encouraging parents to contact the Nursery Manager for any necessary clarifications.
They provide various session times, including full day, morning, and afternoon options, running from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The nursery emphasises that government funding does not cover meals, snacks, drinks, consumables like wipes and sun cream, or extra-curricular activities, which remain the parent's responsibility.
To address this, an optional Meal & Consumables Package is available for funded sessions. Granby House Nursery is committed to safeguarding, maintaining an allergy-controlled environment, and adheres to operational policies for all attending children.
They also accept several payment methods, including cash, standing order, and Tax-Free Childcare. Parents looking for personalised funding calculations or meal package alternatives are encouraged to directly consult with the Nursery Manager.

Inclusion & environment
Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make strong and sustained progress in all aspects of their learning. Staff provide highly effective support to children with SEND. They identify possible gaps in development at an early stage and act promptly to address them, working closely with other professionals and making good use of additional funding.
Children learn to recognise and manage the risks in their play. For instance, they negotiate, with considerable skill, manoeuvring a wide range of pedalled and balanced vehicles around their obstacle course in the well-resourced grounds.
My son John attended this nursery when it first opened over 25 years. I was very happy with the care he received. The staff were brilliant! Its lovely to know that this nursery is still the brilliant nursery it was then ! Well done to all the staff!
