Hawley Pre-School, located in Camberley, Surrey, has been an integral part of the local community for over 50 years, initially as a playgroup and since 1977 as a registered Pre-School. The pre-school provides care and education for children from two years old until they transition to Primary school. Renowned for its supportive environment, Hawley Pre-School focuses on learning through play.

The dedicated team of trained staff, led by Supervisor Mandy Quinn, who holds a BA (Hons) in Education and Childcare in the Early Years, ensures a nurturing setting for up to thirty-two children per session. Staff members are qualified, with many holding or actively working towards an NVQ Level 3 Early Years Foundation Certificate, and all are First Aid certified, adhering to safeguarding guidelines.

Hawley Pre-School prides itself on an "open door" policy, fostering strong communication with parents through various channels including email, Facebook, notice boards, and an online learning journal called Tapestry, which allows for real-time sharing of children's development. Pricing & funding

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children make good progress from their starting points, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff are skilful in supporting children with SEND and provide one-to-one support when needed, working closely with other professionals to meet individual needs.

Outdoor space

Staff ensure that all children can choose to play inside or outdoors. Children enjoy a range of physical activities from riding scooters and bikes to balancing on crates, and work together to build a den, gaining strong levels of coordination and stamina.
