I can't praise Heathfield House enough. My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and is leaving for school this year, and my 1 year old son also attends now. My children have thrived, they absolutely love it here. The staff are the warmest, kindest and most nurturing group of ladies. The children are given confidence and freedom, encouraged to develop their skills and explore their own creativity. I have never had even the slightest doubts that my children are loved and cared for. The nursery is fantastically run by Cheryl, who clearly has the children's best interests at heart. This is not just a money-making business, like some nurseries. Facilities are excellent, the food provided is home-cooked, fresh and ample. You are kept updated on everything and communication is fantastic, with lots of social events for parents to get involved and form lasting friendships with other parents also. Special mentions for Jo and Becca in the preschool room, who are the most positive and loving ladies towards the children, and to Jane and Mia in the baby room who have a natural warmth for comforting the little ones. I will be so sorry to say goodbye when my children reach the end of their time here, and we honestly view Heathfield House as a second family for them.
Read on GoogleAfter bringing our now 8 and 4 year old son’s to Heathfield for over 7 years we’re going to miss everyone so much. The staff at the nursery are all lovely, enthusiastic and great fun. They do so many exciting and creative things with the children. There are so many events they organise for Comic Relief, Halloween, World Book Day and Heathfest just to name a few. We’d sometimes struggle to keep up! We would definitely recommend Heathfield to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their little one to thrive and be well looked after.
Read on GoogleI can’t thank the staff at Heathfield House enough for everything they have done for my little boy over the past 3 years. He has been attending since he was 1 and over the years he has been able to express his creativity and personality and is supported in his development and transition into school. Heathfield is an amazing nursery and I would recommend it to everyone.
Read on GoogleHeathfield House has been absolutely wonderful with my daughter. She has been there since she was seven months old. She's heading off to primary school this year, and she couldn't be better prepared, all thanks to the dedication of the staff. They are all hardworking, kind, and incredibly welcoming. I'm so glad I chose Heathfield all those years ago.
Read on GoogleAs a working parent I’ve been reassured and impressed with the care and nurturing environment at Heathfield Day Nursery. From the first initial viewing when we visited various prospective settings, Vicky, the Deputy Manager, repeatedly described the nursery as ‘home from home’— a sentiment that has been reflected in the care my daughter has received since starting 18 months ago. The staff go above and beyond to create a welcoming, safe and familiar environment for the children. In particular, Jane (my daughter’s first key worker), Kerrie, Chloe, and Abi in the toddler room, have been supportive and detailed in their handovers and knowledge of my daughter. It is evident that they build strong relationships with the children that they are looking after and educating, but also create a sense of belonging for the children when they are in their care. Each week, my daughter is engaged in a blend of educational and fun activities, all designed to support her development while sparking her interests. There are also good curriculum enhancements throughout the year, such as Heathfest, Christmas parties, Children in Need, and the Christmas Nativity - these events add a personal and memorable touch to the nursery experience. Heathfield provide good updates through Tapestry and the nursery's social media platforms, which not only keep me informed but also link directly to Development Matters. Since starting, my daughter has settled beautifully, and I feel reassured each day knowing that she is in safe hands in terms of her education and care. Overall, I’m so glad we chose Heathfield Day Nursery. The staff invest in the children’s development and well-being, and I know my daughter is in capable and caring hands.
