Heaton Nursery, established in 1970, is a private day nursery and out-of-school club located just 10 minutes from Newcastle City Centre. It caters to children from birth up to 11 years old.
The nursery aims to provide high-quality, flexible, and affordable childcare within a safe and happy environment, preparing children for primary school. Heaton Nursery is part of a group of five privately owned childcare provisions.
They operate Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, for 51 weeks a year, closing for approximately one week over Christmas and on bank holidays. What it's like
Children develop a range of skills and knowledge through good quality teaching and a stimulating environment. Babies happily explore their physical skills and two-year-olds explore different craft activities and develop early writing skills. Pre-school children love to listen to stories and join in with discussions. There is a nice calm atmosphere and children behave well, feeling safe and happy.
