Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are very well supported. Staff use sign language to include children with hearing difficulties and speak words in different home languages to help children settle. Funding is used to develop an inspiring sensory room with resources to spark interest and curiosity.
Children receive excellent encouragement to keep themselves safe, for example, they have their own, brightly coloured jackets and clipboards, and join in with staff completing daily risk assessments in the garden. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, both indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
My daughter has been attending Hemsley House for the last 4.5 months. She throws her arms out for her teachers each morning and happily waves at me goodbye! She loves her days at nursery and all the staff take such great care of her! Thank you!

The most fantastic nursery, amazing and attentive staff. My son has been going for a few months now and honestly can’t fault them. You can really tell the staff care and always have the children’s best interests at heart. My son settled in so well, i receive regular updates and know I can pick up the phone whenever I need to speak to them. Couldn’t recommend enough for anyone needed a nursery place! Thanks to all the lovely staff at the baby unit!

!Outstanding Nursery! Being in the EYFS myself i was really fussy about which nursery i send my child too. My son has been attending for roughly a year, he has come on phenomenally and thoroughly enjoys his time there. I cannot praise them enough, they truly love and support the children in their care. Would 100% recommend to any friends & family members!

Lovely nursery, the team are always welcoming and friendly. The garden is a really great size and the children are able to access it often. My niece is always talking about what she gets up to and what fun shes had.
