Honey Bear Day Care, established in 2018, provides a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 0-9 years in Leigh, WN7 5JS. 30am until 6pm, the nursery was rated as Good by Ofsted on its latest inspection on 12 August 2021.

Leaders and staff are passionate about the care and learning children receive, focusing on their emotional well-being and ensuring they settle and transition between rooms at their own pace. Children develop secure attachments and a strong sense of belonging, becoming confident and independent learners who demonstrate excellent behaviour and respect for others.

The nursery caters to a wide age range, with activities tailored for all, from babies exploring shapes and spaces to older children engaging in problem-solving activities. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are extremely well supported, with leaders collaborating with a wide network of other agencies to provide any additional help required.

The curriculum is well-planned and ambitious for all children, with a strong emphasis on numeracy skills and a language-rich environment where rhymes are sung daily and story time happens twice a day. Physical development is also a priority, with each age group having its own outdoor play area featuring age-appropriate equipment for balancing and climbing.
