Inclusion & environment
Staff monitor children's development effectively and quickly identify any gaps in children's learning. They provide extra support and work closely with other professionals and parents to ensure all children make good progress and are well prepared for the next stage in their learning.
Children have a range of play opportunities to build their physical development. Outside, children use tricycles and invite their friends on the back to explore the garden. Children demonstrate kindness to one another and behave well. They enjoy taking risks as they learn to balance on the boards with confidence.
Pushpa is such a lovely and caring key person. She is extremely thoughtful, always smiling, and makes every child feel special and important — something I truly appreciate. Leonar, on the other hand, feels very happy and excited to see and interact with her during his time at the nursery. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and speaks positively about each staff member. Devon, the manager, is very helpful and professional. I always find it easy and pleasant to deal with her whenever anything is needed. Hungry Caterpillar Nursery is overall a great place for children. The staff are kind, experienced, and know exactly how to care for and comfort little ones. I would give this nursery 4 stars, as I feel the classroom could look a bit nicer and be kept slightly cleaner. However, the kitchen is always spotless, and hygiene standards are consistently very high. Let me know if you’d like to add or remove any parts!
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending HUNGRY CATERPILLAR for the past 7 months, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and professional. From the very beginning, they made him feel welcome and comfortable. The environment is bright, clean, and full of fun learning activities that keep him engaged every day. he has learned so much – his vocabulary has grown, and he has become more confident and social. I also appreciate the regular updates and photos they send, which give me peace of mind and show me how well he is doing. It truly feels like a second home for him. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a warm and supportive place for their little ones!”
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending this nursery since he was 11 months old . I was very anxious and afraid of sending my baby boy to nursery as it was with a very heavy heart that I had to make this decision as my maternity leave came to an end . Five months on, and it is the best decision I have made for my son’s development. On our first day at nursery, I met the wonderful Dora who is my son’s key person. She is really motherly and nurturing and she immediately put my mind at ease when I met her. Dora made me feel confident that I was leaving my son in very safe hands. Dora as well as her colleagues, are very friendly, gentle souls who work very hard, are dedicated to providing the best childcare and they all genuinely care about the children. They always greet us with a big smile in the mornings and they always take an interest in how we are. To me this means a lot. Joyce and Holly are two of the most wonderful managers. They are very professional, approachable and helpful. Also, the Famly app the nursery uses to share photos & updates on my son on the days he’s attending, helps me put my mind at ease . I am so happy my son attends this nursery and I highly recommend it!
Read on GoogleWe have been at Acton Park for just over two months and are so happy with how quickly our baby has settled in! Holly and her team are loving, professional and genuinely care about the children and making sure that the transition into nursery is a positive one. Our son was allocated 2 key members of staff who have been amazing (huge thanks to both S &T!!) and that consistency has really helped our son settle and he now goes in with a big smile on his face, excited for his day! The app the nursery uses to share updates & pictures really puts your mind at ease - highly recommend :)
Read on GoogleOur little girl has come on so much since starting at Acton Park and when you ask for skills to be developed the staff really take notice so that your child progresses swiftly. The atmosphere in the nursery is always buzzing and the children thrive under a varied curriculum focusing not only on the usual number and letter activities but social, emotional and physical skills woven into a multitude of play activities. The food provided is also nutritious and varied which we love and our daughter certainly does too. We also really appreciate the support we get from the staff as a family. We feel very lucky to have got a space at Acton Park.
