How they support every child

SEND provision

This includes children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff are skilled at adapting activities and involve children with SEND in all aspects of nursery life. Staff support children with SEND. Alongside leaders, they identify gaps in children's learning at an early stage and work with parents and other professionals to address them. Children are developing well in their learning.

Outdoor space

Children access outdoor activities regularly. They develop their large muscles as they balance to work the see-saw, and ride wheeled toys. Staff remind them of spatial awareness as they eagerly ride the bikes in the garden.

I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely nursery and their incredible staff, especially the managers, Jackie and Shamsa, who are ever present and fully engaged in all aspects of care and communication. They’ve created a home away from home where the children are happy, learn beyond their age levels and are well nourished! Both my children have attended (and attend) J&S, and I can see the many ways they have thrived and grow in confidence too. You can often see children who formerly attended the nursery joyfully run in to say hello to the staff after school (and request some of Jackie’s food :)). Thank you sincerely to the staff, because finding somewhere where I have confidence that my children are loved, thrive and are well cared for means everything.

My grand daughter attend jandsplayhouse nursery and this was one of the greatest decisions that her mother made on her behalf. Her self-esteem has increased dramatically after previous nurseries have let her down in the past. She is so happy and learning so much for a child of her age 3 years.

A true gem!!! The Staff and owners are like family. My child attends this nursery from 18 months old (now nearly 3) and loves it there. They know each childs quirky habits and support each child's growth and development. The food is brilliant and premises are clean and lovely. Thank you Jackie and Shamsa.

My son attends this amazing quality standard nursery, the staff are amazing all fully qualified with experience. My son always comes home with a smile, art work and a review of his daily routine. I recommend this nursery 100% outstanding.

My 2 year old attends this nursery and it is an overwhelmingly positive experience. The care and provision is excellent, staff are attentive, activities are great and the atmosphere is lovely. She is thriving. Would recommend to all.
