Jigsaw Childcare (Catterick) Limited, established in 2013, provides a nurturing and well-resourced environment for children aged 0-4 years. Open Monday to Friday all year round from 7:30 am to 6 pm, the day nursery focuses on an inclusive approach, exceptionally supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their families.
Staff work closely with parents and engage with relevant agencies to ensure children receive swift and effective support. The curriculum encourages children to be active, busy learners.
They are given ample freedom to explore the outdoor environment, where even the youngest children can develop physical skills by navigating obstacles. Staff are enthusiastic and skilled in fostering communication and language development, getting down to children's level and making the most of opportunities to extend their vocabulary.
The day nursery received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 12th April 2022, highlighting the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

SEND provision
The management team and staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and their families exceptionally well. They discuss concerns about children's development with parents and engage with relevant agencies so that support for children is received quickly.
Outdoor space
Children relish the freedom they have to explore the outdoor environment. Younger children delight in opportunities to practise developing physical skills by manoeuvring across crates and balancing on planks, carefully watching their footing and steadying themselves.
