Outdoor space

Older children explore the outdoor environment with great interest, using binoculars to identify birds and finding worms and other creatures. They show great care towards mini-beasts, placing them near the nursery 'bug hotel'. Children have good opportunities for daily outdoor play, whatever the weather, and staff carry out daily risk assessments to ensure the environment is safe.

Shocking communication. No one answers the phone, calls you back or responds to emails. I feel not sending my child here was a lucky escape. Especially after reading other reviews on another website and realising that their 2022 ofsted inspection was rated overall inadequate. I’ve also read about parents concerns regarding the level of care their child receives. I have looked around this nursery and thought the garden space was small and the overall cleanliness wasn’t great. They ask for a £250 non refundable registration fee which you have 48 hours to pay but won’t confirm what days your child will go or the start date. Absolutely appalling.

Was told on induction that they accept government funding only to be hit with a bill at the end of the month because they don’t accept “full government funding”. Nothing about it on the induction paperwork, wasn’t told about it on the first day, nothing. And also can’t take him out for another 8 weeks because of their “requirements” so will have another 2 months of unaffordable bills due to them making up rules as they go along. Not impressed.
