Inclusion & environment
Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to help children work towards their next steps of development. For example, staff use teddy bears and storybooks to help pre-school-aged children self-regulate and verbalise their emotions. These children access these resources when they feel overwhelmed. They choose a teddy that represents a feeling and use breathing exercises to help calm and relax them.
Outside, older babies excitedly explore water play. They carefully pour water from small teapots into a tray.
Highly recommend Kiddi Caru!! I was so nervous thinking about returning to work after maternity and looked at a couple of childminders & nurseries. Kiddi Caru was recommended to me by one of my friends & as soon as I had a visit, I knew it was the best place for our daughter (9 Months at the time). It's such a lovely, safe & clean environment. Everyone is so warm & friendly which made me feel at ease right away as you feel they really do care about your child. We had several settling sessions, building up to a full day. Our daughter took to it so fast, and I was relieved to be able to see her settle in as they kept us in the loop with photos and updates. I feel completely confident that our daughter is in the best hands, developing so many skills & enjoying nursery which has made the transition back into work that bit easier for me. Obviously its difficult being away from her, but I know she is having the best time at Kiddi Caru and is above all, safe & happy! Thank you all so much xx
Read on GoogleMy baby is really happy there. He loves going to nursery. The team is really friendly and supportive, they communicate all the time, the app is updated regularly with photos and information about what they are doing during the day. Really highly recommend!
Read on GoogleWhen I come to see the nursery at the beginning I thought I found the right, the lady showed around and she was so welcoming and nice and understanding, she was very professional. I was sure it’s really great begin to start. We were both so excited to come for our settle hour, but unfortunately felt down when we left. The staff in the group (preschoolers) didn’t make experience of my daughter any special or welcome (wasn’t smiling or come to try to talk to my girl when we went outside, so didn’t try to approach my daughter to stay with them) and while she played outside I heard her crying and asking to get inside, when the teacher returns she denied (better if she said the truth because I would understand) saying that it wasn’t my daughter),which I can record her voice from thousand and thousand…anyway she returned stressed. We refuse our place after this trial… thank you. P.s.-after this experience my daughter still panicking to go to the different nursery, she talking about how she were crying in nursery! Huge mistake to start with you! (Added ps after nearly 3month)
Read on GoogleAvoid ! I’ve enjoyed it for a year or so but since my boy went into preschool group and his teachers changed , everything else changed too . Child neglect , not providing for their basic needs . His bottom was constantly dirty , their excuse was they come and go and sometimes they can’t see them !? There’s no supervision in the toilets, so you don’t even know if children wash their hands . Reported to ofsted . Lots of other parents removed their children from there too for different reasons. Since we changed nurseries we’ve never been happier !
Read on GoogleMy son absolutely loves going to nursery here. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great activities for the children and the variation of food on the menu is great! Highly recommend!
