Kids World Dearne is a nursery in Rotherham providing care for children aged from one to two years. It operates all year round, from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. The inspector reported that children are happy to attend and make excellent progress from their starting points. Staff were seen to promote a love of reading and develop strong partnerships with parents. The curriculum is adapted for each child, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children play outside daily, with waterproof clothing available to allow for play in all types of weather.

Leaders and staff work together to design a curriculum that is ambitious and adapted for each child, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff support children with SEND to develop their language and social skills and be part of the nursery community.

Outdoor space

Children play outside each day. Staff recognise individual children's needs and create opportunities for children to explore physical skills and regulate their emotions, such as bouncing under bubbles. Leaders have purchased waterproof clothing so that children can play outside in all weather.

Lovely place lovely staff. It’s normal for a child to have an accident and keep it a secret! My boy always tried to wipe himself. Son came on leaps and bounds. Manager very human and approachable, all staff friendly & great at peeling away and distracting a clingy child. No complaints what so ever :)

My daughter loves this place and it’s such a shame to have to find somewhere else but there is no duty of care whatsoever, coming home with poo in her bum, really sore from not changing her and not giving her packed lunch, nothing but problems with this place. Oh and a bit misleading as the man who owns the company has given it 5* and written as review as a family member 😂😂😂
