Pricing & funding
Charges are based on a full-day rate covering 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, which includes all meals, formula, nappies, and activities. A minimum booking of two full days per week is required, including either a Monday or a Friday. Fees are invoiced monthly in advance and are payable via direct debit.

SEND provision
Staff have embedded systems to monitor all children's progress closely and provide any required intervention as early as possible.
Outdoor space
Children use the garden for physical challenges such as negotiating a steep slope and balancing on beams in an obstacle course; staff monitor, praise and prompt them to repeat tasks to master skills.

Kinderzimmer as a whole feels like the NHS - fantastic, professional carers let down by poor central KZ/Famly management and chronic understaffing. The carers themselves would get 5* and we only have positive things to say about them. Six months ago, we would have given a 5* review to the whole setup - it feels like cost cutting measures have impacted the experience. Our positive experiences of KZ: 1. Great environment, always kept clean and a lively location for kids to learn and grow. 2. Caring individuals who look after the children well. Well focussed on combining learning and happiness. 3. There’s a good focus on feeding the children with a balanced and varied diet. Likewise the environment at meal times brought about great manners/behaviour from our son. Our negative experiences of KZ: 1. Increasingly understaffed. Children have been turned away in the morning due to insufficient staffing/ parents have to wait 30-45 mins until sufficient staff were on site. Likewise we’ve had to wait 10+ mins to pick our child up due to meal timings and insufficient staff being available to handover. 2. Children very infrequently go on “field trips” during the day nowadays, which was a key part of their sales pitch when we joined and used to happen when we first joined. Again a symptom of being understaffed. 3. We used to get near daily updates about our child’s activities and development, but now get a weekly update instead. The carers are all conscientious but simply don’t have enough time due to insufficient staffing. 4. Early breaches of GDPR when we signed our child up. Staff got confused between my son and another child who had the same name, sharing private information about another child during the process of registering our child. 5. Changing T&Cs then immediately exploiting them to make two price changes within the same year. Comms were sent out late on a Friday afternoon in the hope of parents missing the comms. 6. No communication about direct debits being suddenly taken earlier in the month, and no acknowledgment that this is not good practice when challenged about it.

Warm, welcoming and brilliantly run, this nursery has been a joy for our family. Our little one settled in quickly, loved the caring staff, and came home happy every day. Truly outstanding support, communication and atmosphere. Highly recommended for any parent.
