About this day nursery

Kookaburra Playgroup provides a welcoming and engaging environment where children aged 1-4 years arrive happy, settled, and ready for their day. 30 pm, the playgroup fosters positive attitudes to learning and ensures children make good progress.

Staff members are adept at organising the environment to spark children's natural curiosity and eagerness to learn, offering a diverse array of experiences that prepare them effectively for their future. The playgroup has a strong commitment to supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with external agencies and swiftly implementing advice to provide purposeful activities.

Children benefit from outdoor learning opportunities, including visits to local parks to search for bugs and play at the playground. Parents appreciate the daily verbal feedback they receive about their children's day and the activities provided to support learning at home.

Started in 2008, the playgroup consistently monitors children's progress, promptly addressing and closing any learning gaps.
