Lily's Little Gems Day Nursery, situated in Bolton, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. Established in September 2019, the nursery boasts brand new resources and an open-plan layout designed to foster creativity and learning through play.

They are committed to encouraging resilience, confidence, and self-assurance in every child. The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor play, utilising natural resources like a bug house, mud kitchen, and sandpit to encourage exploration and imagination.

The dedicated team, comprising highly qualified practitioners, apprentices, and students, works closely with parents through an interactive family app to ensure seamless communication regarding children's daily updates, developmental progress, and invoicing. Lily's Little Gems is Ofsted registered and has been awarded a 'Good' rating.

They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, focusing on prime areas such as personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, and physical development, which form the foundation for future learning in literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. My daughter has been at Lilys since baby room and soon to be leaving for big school. The rooms are well resourced and activities are well thought out and tailored to meet the needs of the child. I have never had any safeguarding concerns. Special mentions to kerry, Sarah and rachel who are wonderful preschool leaders as well as all the other amazing staff my daughter loves dearly. Detailed handovers are especially helpful as well as the app where videos photos and information is shared daily.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Lily’s! Thanks to the dedication and warmth of the staff in the Baby and Tweenies room, our child has settled in beautifully. Every morning, she is happy and excited to go in, which means the world to us as parents. The staff are always welcoming, greeting us with a smile both at drop-off and after a long day of caring for our little ones. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that our child is in such a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. The detailed handovers at pick-up are so valuable, keeping us informed and involved in her daily experiences. We especially appreciate the addition of the Tweenies room, which has made the transition from the Baby room to the Toddler room so much smoother for my child. A huge thank you to Sarah and Emelia for creating such a caring and supportive space—your kindness and dedication truly make all the difference!

My child has been at Lilys since 2021. A fantastic environment for your child’s development with staff who always go the extra mile. Importantly, my child loves going to Nursery. It makes our lives a lot easier. I can’t thank all the team enough for their role in my child’s development and general well being.

Lilys Little Gems offers a loving, safe and nurturing childcare setting. My daughter loves going, has strong relationships with the staff and I definitely feel like she is in safe hands with everyone there.

Both of my children attend Lily’s Little Gems. I cannot begin to explain how fantastic they have been (and continue to be) with both of my children. Staff are supportive, knowledgeable, understanding and have the children’s best interests at heart. My children have been blessed with amazing Key Workers in Baby Room and Toddler Room. They are happy to go in to nursery and that says enough that this really is a fantastic place. Thanks for everything that you do xxx
