SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who face disadvantage make significant progress across all areas of learning. They receive individualised and tailored support to overcome barriers to learning quickly and swiftly. Leaders and staff make a demonstrable difference to children's outcomes by ensuring specialist and tailored support is in place from the outset, drawing on professionals and other partners for highly effective advice and guidance.

Outdoor space

Children are encouraged to keep themselves fit and appreciate the importance of being outdoors for their mental health. Older children talk excitedly about going to the local forest school and being outside. Staff promote children's understanding of the local community, taking children on daily walks and supporting children's understanding of nature effectively. As such, children develop an appreciation of the outside world and secure knowledge of how to keep themselves safe, fit and healthy.

EAL / language support

The setting provides individualised and tailored support for all children, ensuring they achieve very well from their starting points. Leaders are creative and proactive in securing grants to support families to secure places and financial support. This ensures all children establish very positive routines in readiness for school.

Incredible staff go above and beyond. Know every child and what they like/need. Im really grateful we found little explorers. My little boy loves it here. They really are amazing.

Absolutely fantastic! We moved our little girl here after not being too happy with another local nursery, what a difference!! The staff and facilities are superb! Incredibly clean and safe environment for children. Our little one loves going here and is always happy and well looked after, so much she often doesn’t want to leave! Highly highly recommended!!
