About this day nursery

Little Feet Day Nursery in Bolton offers high-quality early years education, fostering a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn and grow. The nursery is committed to continuous professional development for its staff, ensuring practice aligns with current childcare standards.

They actively support aspiring childcare professionals through an apprentice programme, working with local colleges to offer Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications. The nursery also collaborates with local training centres for student placements, and all staff and students undergo rigorous vetting and DBS checks.

Dedicated sensory rooms provide a tranquil and stimulating space for exploration and quiet time, equipped with various lights, sounds, and textures suitable for all ages. Children aged 3-4, who are toilet trained and can follow instructions, can participate in weekly swimming sessions at Sharples High School, which includes transport costs.

Little Feet Day Nursery has developed its own comprehensive curriculum with 12 age-appropriate goals, focusing on the seven areas of the EYFS, and partners with Mini Minds Matters to support children's mental health and wellbeing through mindfulness and affirmations.
