Inclusion & environment
Staff collect information about children's home lives and experiences to help to meet their individual needs.
Staff provide many opportunities for children to develop their physical skills. Children eagerly help to arrange a traffic course with bicycles, where they practise skills such as balance and spatial awareness. Younger children learn how to safely use equipment, such as how to push a scooter, which helps them to learn how to manage risks, as well as acquire new skills. Staff gently encourage children to dress themselves for outdoor play, offering encouragement to keep trying.
There isn't enough stars here to give little fingers nursery. I completely agree with the other reviews that it is a family. I feel blessed to have had my 7 year old go there and now my 3 year old currently attending. There is such a variety of things they do and to be honest I am a little jealous of the none stop fun. The ladies there are full of heart and my daughter is coming home with her pictures and paintings that she has started to write her own name on. They add so much learning into every activity which is amazing. There is always a happy atmosphere and both the inside and outside are full of adventure. Nobody could ask for more in finding a happy place to be. ❤️💜💙💛💚
Read on GoogleLittle Fingers Nursery is absolutely wonderful! The amazing staff create such a kind, inclusive and fun environment and the space lends itself brilliantly for the kids to play, explore and learn. We are so thankful for the incredible start this has given our little boy and couldn’t recommend this nursery more highly! ✨✨✨
Read on Google5 stars is not enough to fully describe how great this little Nursery is. My daughter has attended Little Fingers for 18 months now, during which time she was diagnosed with Autism. The staff (wonderful ladies!) are attentive and kind and have been unerringly generous in terms of help and support whilst we have been going through the diagnostic process. They have been flexible and responsive to her changing needs and swift to supply any feedback we needed to move forward with diagnosis. They immediately made all the necessary SEN adjustments to make her time at nursery even more accessible and enjoyable. The 1-1 time she has received has been invaluable to her development and she has had the best fun there! It's so wonderful to see her skip in to Nursery with joy and excitement every day! Their expertise, wisdom, patience and care have benefited her in more ways than can easily be summarised here. A deeply wonderful early years setting.
