Our daughter has been so happy at Little Haven. Right from when she started at 11 months old she has gone in smiling every day, and developed hugely after she started. The team genuinely care about the kids, and try and involve parents regularly in various activities which we love. It’s a small, dedicated nursery that feels like a community. We would really recommend it to anyone in the area.

We absolutely love Little Haven and everyone that works there. There's nothing scarier than dropping your child off to be looked after by people who aren't family, but the staff at Little Haven feel like family. My son loves his time there, the communication between home and nursery is easy and open and the whole feel of the place is relaxed, friendly, colourful and warm. Also it really feels like they find the thing your child is interested in and build their learning around that and my child has made phenomenal progress across all areas, but it's all done through play. I always recommend this lovely nursery to anyone looking for a place that is full of hugs and fun and learning.

My daughter has been attending Little Haven for just over a year now. After a disappointing experience at another local nursery and visits to at least a dozen childminders, I found it incredibly difficult to find a setting that felt right. My instincts just weren’t settling — until we walked into Little Haven. It wasn’t the most obvious choice at first, but from the moment we stepped through the door, I had a strong sense that this was the right place for my daughter. The staff are consistent, kind, and genuinely understanding. They’ve been flexible and respectful of my preferences as a parent — even when I’ve pushed back on their suggestions, they’ve listened and adapted with care. Most importantly, my daughter has absolutely flourished here. She’s happy, confident, and clearly enjoys her time at the setting — which, to me, says everything. The only small downside has been some occasional confusion with admin and communications over the past year. That said, it has been improving, and in all honesty, I’d much rather deal with imperfect admin and outstanding childcare than the reverse. Overall, I would highly recommend Little Haven to any parent looking for a nurturing, responsive, and child-focused environment.

Little Haven has been a second home for our almost 4-year-old daughter since she was 13 months old. It has been transformational and supportive environment where she has thrived - and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. We originally chose Little Haven particularly for its great outdoor space and Forest School approach, which is unique to many nurseries in London. The children spend a lot of time learning and playing outside, connecting with nature. They also benefit from extra activities like yoga and a hands-on approach to healthy eating, in that they regularly partake in preparing food and cooking. Since joining, we have been overwhelmingly appreciative of how the nursery works in partnership with parents and children to ensure a holistic approach to their development, from both an educational and a social/interpersonal perspective. Whether it’s moving house or potty training, welcoming a new sibling or sleep regressions - the nursery staff work want to work together with you and support you. They encourage children to express their emotions on their terms and become open, communicative and happy little humans. The children there show real kindness and friendship to one another - behaviour that Little Haven fosters so well. Little Haven is run by a family who have made us and our daughter feel part of a family. Their parent-staff evenings, parents’ WhatsApp, and the summer graduation and Christmas parties really help to cement that sense of community.
