Inclusion & environment
Management has a good understanding of the curriculum and what managers want children to learn. This helps all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, to make good progress from their starting points.
Children have daily access to fresh air. The provider is keen for children to learn about the local environment and plans many exciting outings to the beach, open-green areas, and places like the local lighthouse, which help develop children's physical abilities.
My little boy has just started after a bad experience with another nursery. He has really bad anxiety and is currently being assessed for additional needs, which makes a nursery even more important to me. The space is open, bright with plenty to keep them entertained. The staff are all brilliant, a special mention to Steph, Amanda, Claire and Cam who have made this journey so much easier for me. Tonight when I picked my son up he was full of beans, he said good bye everyone had lots of fun on the way out and this makes my heart melt, he is never normally like this with a new environment and can take forever to adjust. It’s such a daunting experience for the child, but also the parents and after one bad experience it’s terrifying, but I can honestly say it’s been a great experience and as the days pass my little boy comes out happy, which is all any parent wants. Lovely setting next to the beach, Amanda is so quick and efficient with sorting out all the horrible paperwork and admissions etc, but she’s been a star how quick she managed to get things sorted. A great bunch of people, lovely ethics and a nice atmosphere. The only downside for me is the nursery is based on the top floor (a lot of stairs) there is a lift, but can be difficult to navigate the stairs if you have more than one child. Everything else is perfect 👌🏻
Read on GoogleAll the staff work tirelessly to make my (very fussy) baby settled and happy! Extra settling sessions, very quick contact with pics when he’s settled and always positive on drop off and pick up. Can’t thank the staff enough! Specially Stephanie who seems to work every hour of the day!
